Vine Linux 6.2 (Haut Bailly) - Release Notes
-------------------------------------------------

This is Vine Linux version 6 release. Since this is not a commercial
version (Vine Linux CR), non-free applications and fonts are not
included on the CD/DVD. Instead of proprietary ATOX X/Wnn7/Wnn8/VJE
Japanese inputs and Ricoh/Dynacomware fonts, this ftp version contains
Anthy and free TrueType fonts.

Vine Linux 6.2, unlike the commercial version (Vine Linux CR),
does not come with any "supports" - if you face any troubles
and problems with Vine Linux, or if you have any questions,
a mailing list for Vine Linux users (vine-users ML) would be
appropriate. In case you need a "support" for the Vine Linux,
you may buy a commercial support service individually.

The software products and documentations are provided "as is" and
no warranty - you must take your own risks against any troubles and
problems of all softwares in the Vine Linux.
Developers, sellers and their relatives will not be liable for
any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software
products. If you have any troubles on each software's license,
please follow its license and its agreement.

   CPU: Pentium II 1GHz or higher (i686+)
   Mem: 256MB+ (Recommend 512MB+) 
   HDD: 700MB for minimum install
        4GB for full install
                
 x86_64 (64bit) version
   CPU: 64bit CPU (AMD64 or Intel64 architecture CPU)
   Mem: 256MB+ (Recommend 1GB+) 
   HDD: 1GB+ (Recommend 4GB+) 


Notes on redistribution of Vine Linux 6.2
------------------------------------------

Redistribution of Vine Linux 6.2 is granted, as far as it is provided
for free, and all components are redistributed as it is released
(CD images or whole directory), including all source files under the
SRPMS directory.
If you are planning to include the Vine Linux onto commercial magazines
in a form of CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, please contact us. And it is appreciated
to report the form of how the Vine Linux is distributed, and the number
of distribution in total. Please refer to docs/LICENSE.TXT for details.
Redistributing beta versions and release-canditate versions are NOT
recommended. If you redistribute such non-final versions, it is recommended
that you add some extra notes regarding the nature of beta software.

If you are redistributing a single component or a part of the whole
components, please refer to the license of each components you wish
to redistribute. And in case of conflicts between each components'
license and Vine Linux's license, follow the individual component's
license.

Commercial redistribution of the entire Vine Linux may cause license
violations of each component - please check and refer to the license of
all components. Or please contact to Project Vine for details.

Online documentations of Vine Linux is also installed to
/usr/share/doc/HTML. which can be accessible after the installation
is complete.
